Maxine Wattam is a fashion and lingerie designer based in Paris.
She started out at Chantal Thomass style office in 2008 before starting her lingerie brand "Kinbaku by Maxine Wattam" in 2009: sophisticated bondage inspired designs.
In 2010, the designer launched Kinbaku in high end retailers and stores such as Selfridges flagship in London, Paris, Geneva and Berlin. In 2011, she was awarded the Grand Prix Lingerie at Festival de Mode de Dinard. The same year, she designed a stage outfit for french model and singer Clara Morgane and started doing bespoke bridal lingerie.
In 2012, she focuses on her bespoke services; she lives between Lausanne and London, building up her exclusive clientele.
Back in Paris in 2013, Maxine starts a line of feminine clothing and joins her partner in his boutique: Glasscove. The boutique offers a small selection of exclusive european labels and her own bespoke pieces. She designs timeless pieces with a retro touch, using only noble fabrics such as wool, silk and coton.
The boutique also has a private showroom next to Maxine's workshop on the first floor, where the designer displays her lingerie collections.
