D'origine anglaise et suisse, c'est à Paris que Maxine Wattam a monté sa première collection de lingerie conceptuelle.

Elle s'inspire du bondage japonais, affectionnant cette esthétique particulière surtout pour ses lignes géométriques qui forment un contraste harmonieux avec les courbes féminines. Dans le domaine de la lingerie, elle puise ce qui l'intéresse: les contours, les lignes et la structure des modèles, qui lui suffisent à maintenir, galber et exalter le corps de la femme.Exit le tissu, Maxine Wattam choisit de ne pas s'encombrer du superflu pour mieux dévoiler la sensualité féminine et ce qu'elle dissimule.

Elle utilise du micro-tulle par touches, pour le confort des modèles, et met en évidence les attributs de la beauté féminine que tant cherchent à cacher.La pointe des seins est ainsi cerclée d'un anneau, la transformant en coeur de bijou, et la chute de reins sublimée par des « déculottés » vertigineux.Le corps féminin ainsi maintenu et sublimé s'offre avec provocation, élégance et humour.

Both English and Swiss, Maxine Wattam has chosen Paris to launch her first collection of conceptual lingerie. She draws her inspiration from Japanese bondage, the distinctive aesthetics of which she likes, especially its geometrical lines, which gracefully contrast with a woman’s curves.

From lingerie itself, she has kept the outlines, the lines and the design structure, which are all she needs to support, shape and glorify the female body. Out goes any unnecessary material; Maxine Wattam has chosen to do away with what is inessential only to better reveal female sensuality and what it conceals.

She uses a hint of microtulle here and there for the comfort of the designs, highlighting in this way the attributes of female beauty so many try to hide. Thus a ring rims the tips of the breasts turning them into the hearts of a jewel while breathtaking «déculottés» sublimate the small of the back. Supported and sublimated in this way, the female body yields itself with provocation, elegance and humour.
